Cappadocia honeymoon in 3 days: a cave suite with jacuzzi, a sunrise balloon flight, a private...
Cappadocia Red Tour (North): Goreme Open Air Museum, Cavusin village, an Avanos pottery workshop, the fairy chimneys of Pasabag, Devrent Valley and Urgup, with lunch.
The Red Tour covers the classic sights of northern Cappadocia in one guided day. It starts at the UNESCO-listed Goreme Open Air Museum, a valley of rock-cut churches decorated with frescoes between the 10th and 13th centuries; the churches are reached by stairs, so wear comfortable shoes. Next is Cavusin, an abandoned cliff village with its cave church.
Lunch is in Avanos on the Kizilirmak river, followed by a pottery workshop where master potters show a craft handed down through generations. In the afternoon you see the mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys of Pasabag (Monks Valley), the animal-shaped rocks of Devrent Valley and the old town of Urgup before returning to your hotel. Entrance and parking fees are included.
