A six-night package for families who want to spend Eid in Istanbul without the stress of planning. You arrive on the eve of Eid, pray on Eid morning at the Blue Mosque or Eyüp Sultan and continue the day with an Eid breakfast at the hotel.
The following days cover the Old City, the Bosphorus cruise and, for the children, Vialand or Büyükada; one day is entirely for Eid shopping with your driver at your disposal for six hours. An Eid family dinner with a Bosphorus view can be added on request.
Hotels are chosen in Sultanahmet and Fatih within walking distance of the mosques; as places fill early during Eid, early booking and a 50% deposit apply.
When your flight lands at Istanbul Airport (IST), our representative meets you in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name and escorts you with your luggage to your private air-conditioned vehicle. After a transfer of about 45 min you check in to your hotel and receive your Turkish SIM card and the 24/7 WhatsApp support number. Arrival on the eve of Eid; Eid sweets are offered at your hotel and the morning transfer time for Eid prayer is confirmed.
On Eid morning a 06:00 transfer to the Blue Mosque (or Eyüp Sultan if you prefer) for Eid prayer, followed by an Eid breakfast at the hotel. At 11:00 the Eyüp Sultan Mosque and tomb, then the Pierre Loti cable car for the Golden Horn view; Miniatürk and rest in the afternoon. In the evening an Eid dinner at a Bosphorus-view restaurant (optional, USD 240 for 6).
Depart at 08:30 with your guide for Sultanahmet: Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the Basilica Cistern. After lunch at a local restaurant you visit Topkapı Palace including the Harem and the Sacred Relics rooms. The day ends with free time among the 4,000 shops of the Grand Bazaar; walking distances are short and stroller-friendly.
Pickup at 09:00 and a short drive to Eminönü, where you first explore the Spice Bazaar with its stalls of spices, Turkish delight and nuts. A 1.5-hour cruise then takes you past Dolmabahçe Palace, Ortaköy Mosque, the Bosphorus Bridge, Rumeli Fortress and the wooden waterfront mansions. The afternoon ends with the panoramic view from Çamlıca Hill and Beylerbeyi Palace on the Asian side; feeding the seagulls from the boat is a favourite with children.
Depending on the family's choice, a full day at Vialand theme park (tickets included) or a ferry to Büyükada for cycling and the beach. Lunch is included with either option and your driver stays with you all day; back at the hotel around 18:00.
Vehicle and driver are yours for 6 hours. Suggestions: shopping at Mall of Istanbul and İstinye Park, gold and gifts at the Grand Bazaar, children's clothing in Mahmutpaşa. In the afternoon Çamlıca Mosque and hill; in the evening the Eid festivities and Turkish delight tasting in Sultanahmet.
After breakfast you check out; if your flight is later in the day your luggage is stored at reception. Your private vehicle is waiting at the hotel 3 hours before departure and reaches Istanbul Airport (IST) in about 45 min. Cancellations up to 15 days before arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations 7–14 days before arrival are charged 50% of the package price; cancellations under 7 days and no-shows are charged 100%. During Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and New Year periods hotels and domestic tickets are non-refundable and special terms are stated at the time of booking. Balloon flights cancelled due to weather are refunded in full.
