A fly-in programme that combines two UNESCO sites of the Aegean in two days. You fly out of Istanbul in the morning, walk the marble streets of Ephesus the same day, spend the night on the Kuşadası seafront and relax on the white terraces of Pamukkale the next day.
At Ephesus your guide brings the Roman era to life from the Library of Celsus to the Great Theatre, with a quiet pause at the House of the Virgin Mary. In Pamukkale, walking barefoot across the limestone terraces and dipping your feet in the thermal water is the moment everyone remembers, whatever their age.
All flights, transfers, the hotel and two lunches are included; your evening flight from Denizli returns you to Istanbul to pick up your programme where you left off.
When your flight lands at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB), our representative meets you in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name and escorts you with your luggage to your private air-conditioned vehicle. After a transfer of about 1 hours you check in to your hotel and receive your Turkish SIM card and the 24/7 WhatsApp support number. Your 07:00 flight from Istanbul is included; you land in Izmir at 08:10, your bags stay in the vehicle and you drive straight to Ephesus.
Begin at 09:00 at the House of the Virgin Mary on Mount Koressos, then walk the marble street of Ephesus with your guide: the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, the Terrace Houses and the 25,000-seat Great Theatre. After lunch at a village restaurant in Selçuk you visit the Temple of Artemis and the Basilica of St John. Check-in at your seafront hotel in Kuşadası around 17:00.
The evening is free: relax by the hotel pool or stroll the old-town lanes beside the marina and try the fish restaurants. Bags are brought to the lobby for an 08:00 departure the next morning.
Depart at 08:00 for a comfortable 3-hour drive through the cotton and fig fields of the Menderes plain, with a coffee stop in Aydın. Arrival in Pamukkale around 11:00.
Walk barefoot over the white limestone terraces and rest your feet in the 35°C thermal pools – the favourite part for children. With your guide you explore the Roman theatre, necropolis and Cleopatra's Pool (optional entry, USD 15) of ancient Hierapolis. Lunch at a restaurant in the village. Departure to Denizli airport at 17:00.
After breakfast you check out; if your flight is later in the day your luggage is stored at reception. Your return flight leaves Denizli at 20:30 for Istanbul; the ticket is included and your hotel transfer in Istanbul is waiting. Your private vehicle is waiting at the hotel 3 hours before departure and reaches Denizli Cardak Airport (DNZ) in about 1 hours. Cancellations up to 15 days before arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations 7–14 days before arrival are charged 50% of the package price; cancellations under 7 days and no-shows are charged 100%. During Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and New Year periods hotels and domestic tickets are non-refundable and special terms are stated at the time of booking.
