Seven-night Istanbul and Cappadocia package: five nights in Istanbul with guided Bosphorus, Old City and Princes' Islands tours, two in a Cappadocia cave hotel.
Türkiye's two most requested destinations in a single week: five nights in Istanbul and two in Cappadocia. In Istanbul three guided days cover the Bosphorus, the Old City and the Princes' Islands, with a free day in between for shopping or a hammam.
On day six a morning flight takes you to Cappadocia, where you stay in a hotel carved from the rock. The Red Tour visits the frescoed churches of Göreme, Paşabağı and a pottery workshop in Avanos; on the last morning those who wish float over the valleys in a sunrise balloon.
All domestic flights, transfers, bed-and-breakfast hotels and lunches on tour days are included. For families the walks are short, the vehicles spacious with child seats, and the guides speak Arabic or English.
When your flight lands at Istanbul Airport (IST), our representative meets you in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name and escorts you with your luggage to your private air-conditioned vehicle. After a transfer of about 45 min you check in to your hotel and receive your Turkish SIM card and the 24/7 WhatsApp support number.
The first evening is free so you can rest after your journey. Your guide shares recommendations for halal restaurants within walking distance and an easy evening stroll around Sultanahmet or Taksim. The next day's pickup time is confirmed via WhatsApp.
Pickup at 09:00 and a short drive to Eminönü, where you first explore the Spice Bazaar with its stalls of spices, Turkish delight and nuts. A 1.5-hour cruise then takes you past Dolmabahçe Palace, Ortaköy Mosque, the Bosphorus Bridge, Rumeli Fortress and the wooden waterfront mansions. The afternoon ends with the panoramic view from Çamlıca Hill and Beylerbeyi Palace on the Asian side; feeding the seagulls from the boat is a favourite with children.
Depart at 08:30 with your guide for Sultanahmet: Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the Basilica Cistern. After lunch at a local restaurant you visit Topkapı Palace including the Harem and the Sacred Relics rooms. The day ends with free time among the 4,000 shops of the Grand Bazaar; walking distances are short and stroller-friendly.
No fixed programme today – after breakfast the day is yours. Suggestions: shopping at İstinye Park or Zorlu Center, a walk from Galata Tower along İstiklal Street, a scrub and foam massage in a historic hammam (USD 60) or the evening Bosphorus dinner cruise with show (USD 65). Families can add Vialand theme park (USD 45) or Istanbul Aquarium; a private driver for the whole day is available at USD 150.
Transfer at 09:00 to Kabataş pier and a 1.5-hour ferry ride to Büyükada, the largest of the Princes' Islands. With no cars on the island, you tour the pine-covered hills by electric cart or bicycle before a seafood lunch on the waterfront. Free time to climb to Aya Yorgi hill or swim at the beach, then the evening ferry back and transfer to your hotel.
After breakfast you are collected from your hotel and driven to Istanbul Airport (IST) (ticket and 20 kg baggage included). A domestic flight of about 1 h 20 min brings you to Cappadocia, where our local team meets you and transfers you to your hotel in around 1 hours. In the afternoon a short orientation stop at Pigeon Valley and Uçhisar Castle, then an evening of rest at your cave hotel.
At 09:30 your guide takes you to the rock-cut churches with painted frescoes of Göreme Open Air Museum. Then Çavuşin village, the mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys of Paşabağı and the Imaginary Valley of Devrent; at a pottery workshop in Avanos children can shape their own bowl. After lunch at a local restaurant the tour ends around 17:00 with the valley panorama from Uçhisar Castle.
Guests who wish are collected at 05:00 for a one-hour balloon flight (USD 220), back for breakfast at 08:00, then departure to Kayseri.
After breakfast you check out; if your flight is later in the day your luggage is stored at reception. Your connecting flight from Kayseri to Istanbul is included; at Istanbul Airport our representative directs you to your international flight. Your private vehicle is waiting at the hotel 3 hours before departure and reaches Kayseri Airport (ASR) in about 1 hours. Cancellations up to 15 days before arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations 7–14 days before arrival are charged 50% of the package price; cancellations under 7 days and no-shows are charged 100%. During Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and New Year periods hotels and domestic tickets are non-refundable and special terms are stated at the time of booking. Balloon flights cancelled due to weather are refunded in full.
