Day 1Arrival transfer

Arrival in Istanbul – Airport Meet & Greet

When your flight lands at Istanbul Airport (IST), our representative meets you in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name and escorts you with your luggage to your private air-conditioned vehicle. After a transfer of about 45 min you check in to your hotel and receive your Turkish SIM card and the 24/7 WhatsApp support number.

First Evening at Your Hotel

The first evening is free so you can rest after your journey. Your guide shares recommendations for halal restaurants within walking distance and an easy evening stroll around Sultanahmet or Taksim. The next day's pickup time is confirmed via WhatsApp.

Day 2Guided tour

Bosphorus Cruise & Spice Bazaar

Pickup at 09:00 and a short drive to Eminönü, where you first explore the Spice Bazaar with its stalls of spices, Turkish delight and nuts. A 1.5-hour cruise then takes you past Dolmabahçe Palace, Ortaköy Mosque, the Bosphorus Bridge, Rumeli Fortress and the wooden waterfront mansions. The afternoon ends with the panoramic view from Çamlıca Hill and Beylerbeyi Palace on the Asian side; feeding the seagulls from the boat is a favourite with children.

Day 3Guided tour

Old City: Byzantine & Ottoman Heritage

Depart at 08:30 with your guide for Sultanahmet: Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the Basilica Cistern. After lunch at a local restaurant you visit Topkapı Palace including the Harem and the Sacred Relics rooms. The day ends with free time among the 4,000 shops of the Grand Bazaar; walking distances are short and stroller-friendly.

Journey to Sapanca & Maşukiye

Depart at 10:00 for a 2-hour motorway drive to Sapanca. A trout lunch beside the stream in Maşukiye, then the Kartepe cable car up to 1,600 metres (walks in summer, snow in winter). Check-in at your lake-view hotel at 16:00; evening free.

Free Day at Sapanca: Lake & Nature

After breakfast the day is free: cycling by the lake, a walk along the Kırkpınar shore, an ATV safari (USD 35) or the hotel spa. Your driver is at your disposal for four hours for the Sapanca bazaar and the organic village market. In the evening we recommend a barbecue restaurant facing the lake.

Day 6Departure transfer

Departure from Sapanca – Airport Transfer

After breakfast you check out; if your flight is later in the day your luggage is stored at reception. Sapanca to Sabiha Gökçen takes 1.5 hours and Istanbul Airport 2.5 hours; the transfer is included. Your private vehicle is waiting at the hotel 3 hours before departure and reaches Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) in about 1,5 hours. Our representative assists you as far as the check-in desk – we look forward to welcoming you back to Türkiye.

Meeting Point & Pickup

Meet-and-greet at Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gokcen; Sapanca transfer by private vehicle (about 2 hours).

Good to Know

• Hotel check-in is at 14:00 and check-out at 12:00; early check-in depends on availability
• Shoulders and knees must be covered when visiting mosques; headscarves for women are provided at the entrance
• Comfortable walking shoes and a small bottle of water are recommended on tour days
• Pickup times are confirmed via WhatsApp the evening before; please be in the lobby 10 minutes early
• The Kartepe cable car may close in strong wind; the Maşukiye waterfall is visited instead
• Book early for lake-view rooms at Sapanca hotels
• Infants 0–2 travel free (no bed, lap seat on flights). Children 3–11 sharing their parents' room on an extra bed receive a 50% discount; from 12 years the adult price applies. Family rooms and connecting rooms are arranged on request, and child seats are provided free of charge in our vehicles.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations up to 15 days before arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations 7–14 days before arrival are charged 50% of the package price; cancellations under 7 days and no-shows are charged 100%. During Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and New Year periods hotels and domestic tickets are non-refundable and special terms are stated at the time of booking. Balloon flights cancelled due to weather are refunded in full.
