Muğla, on the south-western coast where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean, holds Türkiye's longest holiday shoreline: Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye–Ölüdeniz, Göcek, Datça, Dalyan and Köyceğiz all lie in the same province. Throughout summer there are dozens of daily flights from Istanbul to Bodrum (BJV) and Dalaman (DLM); a private transfer reaches your hotel in 30–60 minutes.

Bodrum is the stylish resort with its white houses, castle and marina; Marmaris and İçmeler suit families with large hotels and calm bays; the Ölüdeniz lagoon and Babadağ paragliding in Fethiye are among the most photographed views in Türkiye. A gulet Blue Voyage (Bodrum–Gökova or Fethiye–Göcek) is the region's classic experience; Dalyan offers mud baths and the Kaunos rock tombs, Datça quiet coves.
