1. Purpose, Scope and Governing Text
This Pre-Contractual Information Form has been prepared under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Distance Contracts Regulation (Mesafeli Sözleşmeler Yönetmeliği) to inform the Consumer before a booking is made via the website, WhatsApp or e-mail. For bookings that are package tours, the information required by the Package Tour Contracts Regulation (Paket Tur Sözleşmeleri Yönetmeliği) is also provided in the booking confirmation and the Package Tour Contract.
This form is to be read together with the booking confirmation, the Distance Sales Contract and the Cancellation and Refund Terms. Before the contract is concluded, the Consumer confirms by e-mail, WhatsApp or through the website that they have read this form and have been informed.
This form is published in Turkish, English, Arabic and Persian. In case of any conflict between the versions, the Turkish text prevails.

The Seller provides its services as a travel agency through the accommodation providers, transport companies and guides it has contracted.
3. Main Characteristics of the Service
The Seller offers accommodation, airport and city transfers, day tours, guiding and package tours combining these services. The main characteristics of the service to be purchased are set out in detail in the booking confirmation sent to the Consumer in writing:
- programme or property name, destination and itinerary
- start and end dates and number of nights
- accommodation, room type and board basis
- services included and not included in the price (transfers, tours, guiding etc.)
- number of adults and children and the children's ages
Descriptions on the website are for information and photos may be illustrative; the definitive content of the service is that stated in the booking confirmation. Requests sent via the website, WhatsApp or e-mail are booking requests; availability and price become final only with the Seller's written confirmation.
4. Total Price Including Taxes and Payment
The total price of the service including taxes, the currency and the payment plan are stated in the booking confirmation. On the website, net (fixed) prices are shown for the İstanbul 7-night and Trabzon 4-night packages and “from” prices for other programmes; “from” prices are confirmed on request according to dates, property and party size. Services and personal expenses not included in the price are listed separately in the confirmation.
Children's prices:
- Ages 0–2: free of charge (no separate bed)
- Ages 3–11: 50% discount when sharing the parents' room on an extra bed
- Ages 12 and over: adult price
Payment terms:
- No payment is taken before the booking confirmation.
- 60% of the total price is paid after confirmation, online or by bank transfer.
- The remaining 40% is paid on arrival in Türkiye.
Payment details and the deadline for the advance payment are stated in the booking confirmation.
5. Performance of the Service and Travel Documents
The services are performed on the dates stated in the booking confirmation, by the Seller or through the accommodation providers, transport companies and guides contracted by the Seller. Programme details and meeting and contact information are sent to the Consumer in writing before travel.
If a confirmed service becomes impossible to perform, the Seller informs the Consumer in writing within three days of becoming aware of it; if the Consumer does not accept the equivalent alternative offered, the amount collected for that service is refunded within 14 days at the latest.
A passport with at least 6 months' validity at the time of travel, any required visa and travel insurance are the Consumer's responsibility. Travel insurance can be arranged through the Seller on request.
6. Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation
Under Article 15(1)(g) of the Distance Contracts Regulation, there is no 14-day right of withdrawal for contracts for accommodation and for leisure activities for entertainment or recreation that must be provided on a specific date or within a specific period. As the Seller's services are performed on specific dates, the statutory right of withdrawal cannot be exercised; instead, the Consumer's cancellation requests are handled under the Cancellation and Refund Terms:
- Packages cancelled 15 days or more before arrival: the amount paid is refunded in full.
- Cancelled 7–14 days before arrival: 50% of the package price is charged.
- Cancelled less than 7 days before arrival, or no-show: 100% of the package price is charged.
- Non-refundable hotel rates and airline tickets are charged in full; the Consumer is informed of this before confirmation.
- Day tours can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the tour.
Cancellations must be made in writing (e-mail or WhatsApp). Refunds are made within 14 days to the original payment method. Full details are given in the Cancellation and Refund Terms.

Turkish law applies to disputes. The Consumer may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) at their place of residence or where the consumer transaction took place, within the monetary limits announced each year by the Ministry of Trade, and to the Consumer Courts (Tüketici Mahkemesi) for disputes above those limits. Where Law No. 6502 requires it, mediation must be sought before filing a lawsuit.
8. Protection of Personal Data
The name, e-mail address, phone number, country, travel dates, party size and message shared in a booking request are processed by the data controller Karakaya Group Turizm Seyahat Taşımacılık Limited Şirketi in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data for the purpose of making the booking and performing the service, and are shared with service providers such as accommodation providers, transfer companies and guides only to the extent necessary for that purpose. E-mail and WhatsApp are used for communication.
