8-day Blue Voyage gulet cruise from Marmaris on full board: 7 nights afloat via Dalyan and Caunos, the 12 Islands of Gocek, Fethiye and Paradise Island.

This week-long Blue Voyage follows the coast east of Marmaris on a traditional gulet, anchoring in a different bay most nights. The route takes in Ekincik with an optional river trip to Caunos and Dalyan, Bedri Rahmi Bay and the 12 Islands around Gocek, Fethiye with an optional visit to Oludeniz, and a last swim at Paradise Island. It suits couples, families and friends who prefer swimming, snorkelling and quiet bays to hotel stays.

Marmaris Bay resembles a calm lake and offers ideal mooring for yachts; the Marmaris Netsel Marina, one of the largest and best-equipped in Türkiye, and the Marmaris Albatros Marina, one of the best for wintering and maintaining yachts, make Marmaris an excellent starting point for the Blue Voyage tour of the Aegean coast. Our team meets you in arrivals with a name sign; private transfer to your hotel and check-in.

Day 1Private drive

Transfer from the Marmaris office at 15:00. When all members of the group have arrived, the skipper will welcome you with a cocktail and answer any questions you may have about the trip. Your first night on board we stay in the harbour so that you may get acquainted at leisure with lively Marmaris, or overnight by Cennet Island.

Day 2Cruise

After breakfast we depart for Ekincik Bay, some distance to the south-east of Marmaris, where we are met by a river boat which takes us to the site of ancient Caunos in the delta of the Dalyan River, and then upriver to the sulphur mud baths. The extensive sandy beaches of the Dalyan delta are one of the last breeding places of the Mediterranean sea turtle Caretta (the Dalyan tour is extra). At a bend in the river, high on the cliff face above the fascinating ancient harbour city of Caunos, magnificent tombs were carved into the rocks.

Day 3Cruise

Even before you wake up in the morning, the yacht leaves Ekincik Bay so as to profit from the morning wind which usually blows off Dalaman Beach. For lunch and a dive into crystal-clear water we drop anchor in Manastir Bay. Later in the afternoon we sail on to Bedri Rahmi Bay, named for the famous Turkish poet and painter who was the inventor of Blue Voyages; we anchor in this lovely place for the night.

Day 4Cruise

We set sail for Tersane Island; many centuries ago the people of this region built their wooden ships here, and you can still see the ruins of the ancient shipyard. Later in the day we sail on to Gocek, our anchorage for the night; Gocek is a small village that has developed into a yachting base with two marinas and many yachting facilities. The region, named "Inside the Darkness" by fishermen, consists of islands and the Kapidag Peninsula adorned with numerous beautiful bays: Yassica Islands, Hamam Bay, Kursunlu Bay, Yavansu, Bedri Rahmi Bay, Tersane Island, Gobun Bay, Boynuzbuku, Gocek Island, Domuz Island, Zeytin Island and Kizil Island, together named the "12 Islands".

After breakfast we leave Gocek for Kargi Bay, a quite beautiful place where we spend ample time swimming, snorkelling and wind-surfing. In the afternoon we go on to the town of Fethiye, where a minibus is ready to take us to the well-known, picturesque lagoon of Oludeniz (extra).

Day 6Guided tour

In the morning we cross the quiet expanses of Fethiye Bay to Disibilmez; this little bay is a paradise for snorkelling fans and, what is more, a meeting place for many kinds of fish just waiting to be caught - good luck to any fishermen. This evening we are on the beach.

Day 7Guided tour

After breakfast we set sail for Kadirga Bay, where we spend some time swimming, surfing and snorkelling. Then we sail on to Myra Island and, for a last dive into the clear water of outer Marmaris Bay, to Paradise Island. With the setting sun we make fast in Marmaris Bay (Kumlubuk, a turquoise paradise, lies on the southern side of the bay, and above the water on the northern side is the Rhodian city of Amos; the natural harbour at Turunc opens out into a wide expanse of spectacular blue water, and Marmaris is the next port).
