A nature package joining the history of Istanbul with the lush valleys of the Black Sea: four nights in Istanbul and three in Trabzon. In Istanbul the Bosphorus and the Old City are guided; on day five you fly to the Black Sea coast.
In Trabzon the misty lake and wooden mosque of Uzungöl, the cliff-carved Sumela Monastery and the rice pudding of Hamsiköy are the three main stops. Jeep rides to the highlands, ATVs and zipline can be added on request.

When your flight lands at Istanbul Airport (IST), our representative meets you in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name and escorts you with your luggage to your private air-conditioned vehicle. After a transfer of about 45 min you check in to your hotel and receive your Turkish SIM card and the 24/7 WhatsApp support number.
The first evening is free so you can rest after your journey. Your guide shares recommendations for halal restaurants within walking distance and an easy evening stroll around Sultanahmet or Taksim. The next day's pickup time is confirmed via WhatsApp.
Pickup at 09:00 and a short drive to Eminönü, where you first explore the Spice Bazaar with its stalls of spices, Turkish delight and nuts. A 1.5-hour cruise then takes you past Dolmabahçe Palace, Ortaköy Mosque, the Bosphorus Bridge, Rumeli Fortress and the wooden waterfront mansions. The afternoon ends with the panoramic view from Çamlıca Hill and Beylerbeyi Palace on the Asian side; feeding the seagulls from the boat is a favourite with children.
Depart at 08:30 with your guide for Sultanahmet: Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the Basilica Cistern. After lunch at a local restaurant you visit Topkapı Palace including the Harem and the Sacred Relics rooms. The day ends with free time among the 4,000 shops of the Grand Bazaar; walking distances are short and stroller-friendly.
No fixed programme today – after breakfast the day is yours. Suggestions: shopping at İstinye Park or Zorlu Center, a walk from Galata Tower along İstiklal Street, a scrub and foam massage in a historic hammam (USD 60) or the evening Bosphorus dinner cruise with show (USD 65). Families can add Vialand theme park (USD 45) or Istanbul Aquarium; a private driver for the whole day is available at USD 150.
After breakfast you are collected from your hotel and driven to Istanbul Airport (IST) (ticket and 20 kg baggage included). A domestic flight of about 1 hours 50 min brings you to Trabzon, where our local team meets you and transfers you to your hotel in around 30 min. In the afternoon tea with a Black Sea view at Boztepe, the Atatürk Mansion and Trabzon's Hagia Sophia; fish sandwiches on the seafront in the evening.
Depart at 09:00 and follow the Solaklı Valley to reach Uzungöl in 1.5 hours. Walk around the lake, photograph the wooden mosque and have a trout lunch on the shore. In the afternoon a jeep ride up to the Şekersu plateau (optional, USD 25) or ATVs; back in Trabzon at 18:00.
Depart at 09:00 for the Altındere Valley; a shuttle and a 15-minute walk bring you to Sumela Monastery, carved into the cliff 300 metres up. A stop for the famous rice pudding in Hamsiköy and lunch at a village restaurant in Maçka. On the way back, the view from the Zigana pass and shopping at Forum mall in Trabzon.
After breakfast you check out; if your flight is later in the day your luggage is stored at reception. The connecting flight from Trabzon to Istanbul is included. Your private vehicle is waiting at the hotel 3 hours before departure and reaches Trabzon Airport (TZX) in about 30 min. Our representative assists you as far as the check-in desk – we look forward to welcoming you back to Türkiye.
